These Thursday morning guided sessions are the perfect opportunity to sit still and discover more about yourself and how you move and breathe in the world.  During these sessions, you will hone our skills at concentration and pondering deeply using a variety of meditation practice.

The foundation for all sessions includes both mindfulness and compassion. Mindfulness is a powerful skill to help you remain more grounded in your present moment experience, rather than be carried away by predictions about the future or rumination about the past. You practice being present, balanced, centered, and unswayed by arising and fading thoughts, sensations or experiences in the world arounds you. The goal is not to create a blank mind, free from thoughts and feelings whatsoever, but to learn to be free from reactivity and judgment about those thoughts and feelings. With increasing awareness of the present moment, you will begin to see things more clearly, a necessity in making intentional action. Finally as you learn to decrease your reactivity and judgment, you can practice kindness, grace and compassion to both yourself and others.  

Classes are held online every Thursday morning from 7:30 – 8:15 AM Pacific Time. All are welcome, no prior experience needed. Sliding scale is available. Drop-in attendance is welcome with a sliding scale available. All Thursday Morning Guided Meditations, and access to Meditation Library are included in the The Breath SPACE Meditation Membership.
