The importance of establishing a baseline and coefficient of variation are discussed, and consistent practices for measurement, such time of day, posture, breathing patterns, and more are reviewed.
This (51-minute) video, the third in the HRV for Training, Optimal Performance & Health series, discusses several of the apps and wearables currently out on the market. This is far from an exhaustive list. Since creating this video some of the apps have undergone a complete update. However, this video should provide you some insights as to how to use these apps and wearables for your own training, health and optimal performance.
